Fete Magazine
Where would be be without the internet? We love it (more than we can say) over at 31STHQ.
It's a constant source (and easy way) to get some creative inspiration, research a target audience or find colour palettes at a touch of a button *click*. Our most recent love is fete magazine, it's a free online lifestyle magazine with brilliant photography, great styling and with a real scandinavian feel.
It's a really beautifully art directed magazine and an easy read too. One you should definitely subscribe too.

Outdoor for Oakheart
We've been very busy little bees at 31STHQ, we've been doing A LOT of outdoor. And you'll see some of our work all around the East Coast of Oz.
Here's a few snaps of the Outdoor component our campaign for Bacardi Oakheart - the newest spiced rum to hit the market. If you haven't tried one, definitely try an Oak-n-Cola when you're out and about next. It's really smooth, smoky with an overtone of sweetness. There is also a heap of sampling activity happening at over 100 venues this month head over to the Bacardi Oakheart Page to find a location near you.
And remember to drink responsibly!

The Dreamers' Supply Co.
The Dreamers' Supply Co, based in London are a series of products designed to spark the thinking of young creatives and entrepreneurs.
We love the branding and the concept for the company - creative thinking tools and aids. We love that they are small packaged goods that help spark creative thinking. But we're not sure 'a cup full of wisdom' is going to bring on that next big idea or a 'sleep on it' pillow will actually help spark new concepts for the morning.
Are these just nicely packaged up ideas?
Would you buy these products to spark your inner creative?
Or are these more quirky creative puns turned into products?

Our favourite things in October
1. The Snag Stand
Ever since our weekly BBQs have gone, we've had to get our snag fix elsewhere (there's still hope our 31ST BBQs will make a comeback). Our favourite not-cooked-at-home-on-the-barbie-snag is from The Snag Stand at Westfield Sydney's food court. So many to choose from, so many combos; naked or tucked in - the choice is yours. And don't forget the chips - seriously yum.
2. Mini Chef Cookbook Series
This pre-christmas chef's cookbook series is genius. The covers are so simple with a limited colour plate with some clean type - so effective. And at only $20 each we can have one of each - so santa put this on our list! These were spotted at Pentimento on King St Newtown, but we're sure your local bookstore has these as well.

The Turtleshell
Apart from a somewhat cheesy video for this Kickstarter product called the Turtleshell - the product actually has legs and we're inclined to support it and test this little do-dah out. What's another gadget to add to the list of 'things we need'.
PLUS it would look great at 31STHQ. Maybe one in every colour perhaps?!

Turn Back Time
Don't you wish that you could be 5 again? Just for a small moment. We do.
Y'see with so many Mums & Dads at 31STHQ we are always admiring the cuteness of their kids. With Halloween approaching this little DIY make us want to turn back time, just for an-una-momento so we could make sweet costumes like this, then wear them. Frankly, peeps our age just wouldn't be able to pull these off.
They are from the super cool Wee people and you can download and make them yourself - even cooler. We adore these. Would you turn back time just to put these sweet-ass costumes on?

Your Better Half
We adore the style of this blog by Amanda Jane Jones. It keeps it short n' sweet and the graphics remind us of that Will Ferrell movie, Stranger Than Fiction but not so techy *phew*.
It's content is cute, easy to read and give us facts about 'your other half' that may be a little left of centre. Bam, exactly what us creatives at 31STHQ love - the quirky detail...
