Branding Trends: #1 Stamp IT!

We've been doing a lot of branding lately, it's our favourite part of creating and building a brand identity. Brands go beyond a simple logo - it's all 'bout attitude, fun, humour and getting across the type of brand persona you want your audience to see.

Over the next few posts we'll detail the top brand identity trends we've been seeing. Some are so simple that you might want to implement these or extend your brand identity.

TREND #1 STAMPS
____________________________________________________________________

So simple, cheap, cheap and A LOT of fun! Use it on business cards, wrap items in craft paper then stamp your packaging, create a pattern, overlay colours, stamp someone's head around the office!

You can get custom stamps created from your artwork file (usually done in illustrator) at your local Stamp supplier (have a look in the Yellow Pages) or stationary supplier like Officeworks or Staples.

There are two main types of stamps:

1. Self inking - all-in-one stamp, simply push down to get an impression but there are limited range of ink colours. But it's a clean process - no mess!

2. Traditional - simple rubber stamp with separate inking pad (there are an array of colours available)  and you can control the amount of ink coverage. Heaps of fun, one stamp that can do multiple colours, just wash - dry and start again.

Get thinking and get creative - you NOW control your stamp.
